HOW TO PLAY
Game Objective
Word Maze is a word puzzle game where you create words by placing letters on a grid to form a path from the start cell to the end cell.
Game Board
The game board consists of different types of cells:
S
Start Cell - Where your path begins
End Cell - Where your path ends
Empty Cell - Place letters here
Blocked Cell - Cannot be used
Tree Cell - Predesinated letter, increase difficulty, no score modification
Star Cell - Doubles word score
How to Play

Select a difficulty level (Easy, Medium, or Hard) to start a new game.

Place letters on empty cells by first tapping a cell, then selecting a letter from the letter bank.

Form valid words by placing letters horizontally or vertically. Words must be at least 3 letters long. Words must be valid from SCOWL (https://github.com/en-wl/wordlist)

Create a continuous path of valid words from the start cell to the end cell.

Submit your solution when you've completed the path.
Scoring
Each letter has a point value:
1 point: A, E, I, O, U, L, N, S, T, R
2 points: D, G
3 points: B, C, M, P
5 points: F, H, V, W, Y
7 points: K
11 points: J, X
13 points: Q, Z
Words that include a star cell have their score doubled.
Your final score includes:
Base score (sum of all word scores)
Time bonus (for completing quickly)
Difficulty bonus (higher for harder levels)
Tips
Plan your path before placing letters
Use star cells strategically for higher scores
Look for opportunities to form multiple words with shared letters
High-value letters (J, Q, X, Z) can significantly boost your score

Select "Daily Challenge" from the main menu to access today's puzzles.

Choose your preferred difficulty level (Easy, Medium, or Hard). Each level offers a different challenge.
